Main Responsibilities:
Perform general mechanical maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery equipment (loaders, excavators, shovels, etc.);
Perform daily vehicle maintenance (greasing, cleaning, and filter checking).
Diagnose problems with engines, transmissions, and other complex mechanical systems;
Work on electrical and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and replacing components;
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations according to manufacturer standards and safety requirements;
Replace and install mechanical parts;
Fill out daily service reports, including work done and recommendations for follow-up;
Communicate to your immediate supervisor the details of equipment downtime (date, time, duration) to ensure rigorous follow-up;
You will be required to perform all other related tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in heavy machinery mechanics, construction equipment, or agricultural mechanics;
A Preventive Maintenance Program (PEP) card is an asset;
Relevant experience in the field, including welding, will be considered an asset;
A valid driver's license is also an asset.
