Location: Montréal-Est, QC (10930 Sherbrooke Est, H1B 1B4)
Schedule: Permanent night shifts, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)

In this key role within our sorting center (CRD), you will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on heavy machinery to support our daily operations.

Job Requirements:
Education: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in industrial mechanics.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in machinery maintenance and repair.
Manual skills: Good manual dexterity to perform precision work.
Personal skills: Autonomy, resourcefulness, excellent priority management, and demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
Commitment to safety: Ability to apply good work practices and strictly respect health and safety rules at work.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and repair: Diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and plan repairs using the most appropriate work methods.
Preventive maintenance: Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance work on available equipment.
Workspace management and cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Reports and follow-ups: Write daily reports on ongoing work (e.g., communicate the date and duration of a machine's downtime).
Compliance and safety: Perform work according to industry best practices and health and safety requirements.
Other tasks: Perform any other related tasks required by the immediate supervisor.
