Sales Advisor - GATINEAU

BRANCHAUD GATINEAU is looking for a Sales Advisor to advise customers in order to meet their needs. The occupant of the position solicits new clients and serves an existing clientele by offering them various products that adequately meet their needs. He must work to achieve individual and team performance objectives.

MAIN TASKS:

• Welcome customers and seek to understand their real needs;
• Discuss the characteristics and quality of the products that customers wish to purchase;
• Inform and advise customers on the use and maintenance of products and demonstrate them;
• Make prices known to customers;
• Explain the warranties offered;
• Explain the credit sale conditions;
• Establish the order form or sales contract;
• Set the delivery date at the time of sale and/or once the merchandise is in the warehouse;
• Check and keep a constant follow-up on unsold sales (VNL);
• Label merchandise on the floor and ensure constant updates;
• Keep an update and constant follow-up on emails and phone messages received;
• Conduct research on the Internet to stay informed about the competition, to learn about products and to be able to respond adequately to customer inquiries;
• Help with the display of merchandise to ensure good placement of merchandise on the floor;
• Participate in monthly meetings of your department.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

• High school diploma (DES) or equivalent knowledge;
• Professional training program or experience in business deemed relevant to the position;
• From two (2) years to less than three (3) years of experience in sales;
• Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays;
• Ease with computer tools and knowledge of the OFFICE suite;
• Bilingualism in French and English to serve both francophone and anglophone customers.
