Key responsibilities
- Actively take part in the daily operations of the poultry farm, in a spirit of collaboration, mutual support and respect.
- Carry out daily rounds in the poultry houses.
- Provide support for work organization, building maintenance and the proper functioning of equipment.
- Concretely contribute to achieving breeding objectives by applying recommended best practices.
- Watch over the well-being of the animals every day and report any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal conditions.
- Perform varied manual work, essential to the quality of operations and the overall performance of the farm (ventilation control, management of control box systems, etc.).
- Respect and apply health, safety and workplace hygiene rules.
- You perform all other related tasks according to operational needs (because here, versatility means challenges and fulfillment!).
Desired profile
- You hold a degree in animal production or any combination of training deemed relevant.
- You are willing to learn automated ventilation technologies and systems, and to grow within the company.
- You have good knowledge of the animal field, particularly for the poultry sector (an asset).
- You have experience in mechanics (basic repairs on farm equipment) and in driving tractors (an asset).
- You are available certain weekends (on call) as the person in charge of branch alarms.
- You are ready to take on additional responsibilities in the absence of the farm manager.
