We are looking for:
We are looking for a Temporary Yard Assistant (November to April) to join our operations team, the person we are looking for will support yard management, which is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are ready for auction sales.
You are:
- Versatile: You are able to interrupt and modify your tasks to help other departments as needed.
- Reliable: You can be counted on to complete your tasks as assigned.
- Detail-oriented: You have an eye for detail and take pride in delivering quality work
- Cautious: You are mindful of your environment and work safely.
Your mission:
- Drive vehicles in various weather conditions.
- Moving, parking, snow removal when required, and searching for vehicles in the yard;
- Ensure that vehicles are functional and ready for sale (jump-starting, adding gas, managing unlocks, preparing for towing, and inflating tires).
- Accurately record services provided (fuel, towing, etc.) to ensure accurate billing.
- Rinse and defrost vehicles
- Other assigned tasks
Essentials:
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Able to drive a vehicle with manual and automatic transmission.
- A high level of attention to detail and quality of service.
- Able to use a computer and a smartphone.
Ideally:
- Experience in the automotive field
- Experience in customer service.
