What we're looking for:
We're looking for a Vehicle Inspection Specialist to join our Inspection Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site inspection process of various vehicles at our ADESA automotive logistics centers. Whether you're a seasoned expert, new to the industry but eager to learn, or simply a car enthusiast, this job is for you!
Our inspectors are:
- Detail-oriented. No detail escapes them, they are the last line of defense when it comes to presenting vehicles to our customers.
- Responsible for inspecting vehicles for signs of wear, cracks, neglect, damage, prior repairs, or structural damage. You will also perform test drives as needed.
- Knowledgeable. You will be using technologies such as mobile inspection tools, OBD scanners, paint measurement devices, and other cutting-edge equipment and software.
- Safety-conscious. We take safety seriously, and you will too. This role will require you to work in all types of weather conditions.
You will:
- Be a master of your craft. Acquire in-depth knowledge of industry best practices and standards through initial and ongoing training.
- Be able to problem-solve. Sometimes days take an unexpected turn, you might be assisted in unpredictable ways, but who doesn't love a home run?
- Be a proud ambassador. The work you do will have a direct impact on vehicle performance at our auctions and the revenue generated; pride in your work is non-negotiable.
