Technician in cultivation

Job Description:
The production technician is responsible for all operations related to cannabis cultivation, from preparing the cultivation rooms to harvesting and post-harvesting stages. He ensures the rigorous application of standard procedures to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency of production processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Cultivation Operations: Understand, operate and optimize cultivation processes in accordance with the Employer's procedures and good practices.
• Cultivation Room Maintenance: Ensure and supervise regular maintenance of the rooms, including disinfection and organization of workspaces.
• Culture Preparation: Participate in setting up the cultivation rooms before planting, including preparing growth supports, soaking cubes, and repotting clones.
• Clone and Plant Management: Monitor and maintain clones and young plants to optimize their development.
• Flowering Cycle Monitoring and Management: Observe, maintain and adjust plant growth parameters during the flowering cycle to ensure optimal yield.
• Hygiene and Organization: Ensure that cultivation areas remain clean, secure, and well-organized throughout the production cycle.
• Harvesting and Post-Harvesting: Actively participate in the different stages of harvesting and post-harvesting operations, including manicuring, drying, and conditioning.
• Other Related Tasks: Perform any other task required in relation to production and maintenance of cultures, as needed by the Employer.

Sought Profile:

• Prior experience in horticultural cultivation, ideally in cannabis production (an asset).
• Ability to work in a controlled environment, with strict respect for production protocols.
• Sense of organization, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Aptitude to work in a team and follow standardized procedures.
• Good physical condition, ability to lift loads and work standing for long periods.

The Production Technician position requires great rigor, punctuality, and the ability to strictly follow established procedures. Given the physical nature of the work, good physical condition is essential, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. A good sense of organization, reliability, and the ability to work effectively, both autonomously and in a team, are indispensable. Additionally, respect for hygiene and safety standards is crucial to ensure a controlled and compliant cultivation environment.
