We are looking for employees for the evening warehouse handler position at our Quebec facility.
Facility : 7000, Rue Armand Viau, Québec, G2C 2C4
Schedule : Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Contract type : part-time 10 hrs/week.
Salary : hourly rate starting at $21.95
The handler, who reports to the sorting supervisor, is responsible for :
- Unloading delivery vehicles, trailers and air freight units
- Loading shipments while ensuring scheduled departure times are respected
- Building a positive relationship with the team (couriers, team leader and sorters)
- Working with equipment such as conveyors, rollers or belts; working in trailers, containers and delivery vehicles
- Other assigned tasks
The handler must :
- Have knowledge of French
- Be able to lift and handle loads up to 70 lbs, alone
- Have warehouse work experience (an asset)
- Have a good team spirit
- Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
- Have no judicial impediment related to the job
Language requirement: No language skills are required for this position.
