Responsibilities

Your duties as a Coffee Specialist will include the following:

Customer Experience and Sales

  • ● Provide customers with an exceptional in-store experience from the moment they arrive.
  • ● Greet, advise and maximize in-store sales by expertly guiding customers through product choices and offering personalized recommendations.

Technical Support and Operations

  • ● Handle product issues and contribute to the smooth running of the store.
  • ● Analyze reported machine malfunctions and provide effective customer service solutions.
  • ● Take part in daily meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and compliance with procedures.
  • ● This role includes physical functions such as lifting, pushing, pulling and safely maneuvering heavy boxes and items of various sizes and weights, in accordance with provincial safety standards.

Store Presentation

  • ● Ensure the physical environment meets brand standards.
  • ● Ensure the store is clean and well maintained, including making sure it is tidy, that adequate equipment is available, and that it is properly presented at all times.

Professionalism, Safety and Compliance

  • ● You will be required to maintain a high degree of professionalism and adherence to all company policies, including all workplace conduct and safety protocols.
  • ● Immediately report any theft incident or safety concern to management.
  • ● All conversations, behaviors and physical interactions with colleagues and customers in the workplace must remain professional and respectful.
  • ● Encourage team members, including by communicating team goals related to customer service processes.
  • ● Help build a safety culture by actively identifying areas requiring new training.
  • ● Assist the team wherever and whenever needed.
  • ● Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in hospitality, sales or retail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; exceptional customer service.
  • Practical, pragmatic and punctual.
  • Strong team spirit.
