About the Position :
Type : Full-time / Permanent
Salary : $22/hour ;
Schedule : Tuesday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 6 pm
Location : Mirabel, Quebec

Summary
Under the responsibility of the logistics supervisor, the delivery driver is responsible for delivering pre-sold orders and picking up returned products, while providing superior customer service. Additionally, this position also serves as backup to the commercial representative in the check collection process.
Essential Functions
  • Drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner. Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip
  • Responsible for delivering products to our customers and providing superior customer service
  • Pick up return products according to instructions and provide a credit note to the customer
  • Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip
  • Complete administrative formalities and paperwork
  • Record order discrepancies and inform the shipping department for resolution (reconciliation operations)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform any other task assigned to them.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to drive a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner
  • Safety first
  • Ability to drive in all weather conditions and in an environment subject to temperature variations
  • Must be able to frequently lift/carry 35 lbs for 8 to 10 hours a day
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization (colleagues, work teams, customers, superiors)

  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Able to handle multiple tasks at once, very organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Very rigorous and reliable

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; general high school subjects
  • One (1) year or more of professional driving experience required
  • No more than one traffic violation or accident (except parking infractions)
  • Valid CLASS A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
