Summary
The Sales Management Trainee program is designed to be completed over a period of 18 to 24 months and provides the trainee with general business management training, as well as specific training in the areas of finance, operations, human resources, and sales/marketing. The trainee will be assigned operational and administrative tasks to assist local and regional management. This fast-paced program covers all aspects of the business unit.
Essential Functions

• Manage sales and inbound/outbound call handling
• Maintain the accuracy of the company's marketing database
• Be responsible for generating leads for rental, leasing, and used vehicle sales
• Manage all processes related to the rental fleet, including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards
• Achieve Ryder's overall market share goal by successfully implementing sales and marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company regulations, as well as local, regional, national regulations and any other regulatory authority
• Resolve all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain sustainable relationships and develop existing customer base

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis and depending on schedules, the rental management intern will be required to assume the role of on-call representative, according to the working hours set by their hierarchical superior.
• Perform any other task assigned to them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a similar field required
• One (1) year or more of customer service experience with problem-solving skills desired
• Intermediate-level computer skills required

Compensation Information:
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, including relevant degrees or certifications, work location, market data/scales, internal equity, internal salary ranges, etc. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type of position. The salary ranges for the position are indicated below:
