Dedicated Merchandiser - Island of Montreal/Centre/West Territory
The dedicated merchandiser collaborates with an international consumer packaged goods (CPG) company to provide field merchandising services to major retailers. This is a territory-based field role that involves visiting large store chains to carry out planned merchandising activities, including assembling, setting up and resetting displays, maintaining and updating graphics and planograms, monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits and data collection, and building strong relationships with in-store teams.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Retail merchandising experience, interpreting planograms and assembling displays (an asset, but not mandatory)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license
- Personal cell phone required, along with a valid email address
- Access to a computer and a printer
- Attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate professional behaviour
- The successful candidate must live in the territory
Additional Responsibilities and/or Experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and management
- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity and strong implementation skills.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Motivated and organized
- Access to a reliable vehicle required, as the position is performed entirely in the field
Education
This position requires at minimum a college diploma (DEC)
OR
This position requires completion of secondary school, or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered
