Job Description
The incumbent performs the activities and tasks necessary to process the product flow at the Lumber Distribution Centre. These different processes include, without being limited to, the receipt and shipment of lumber materials using propane forklifts of different sizes, in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to each process.
Key Responsibilities
• Use different types of material handling equipment (e.g., small and large propane forklifts) in a safe manner.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers, Area Coordinators, and other associates to effectively complete assigned tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal distribution and store teams by being detail-oriented and completing assigned tasks within established deadlines.
• Maintain the assigned work area clean and well-organized.
Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Distribution Centre management team.

• The warehouse can be dusty and noisy.
• Presence of exhaust fumes from forklifts.
• Doors are frequently open, resulting in drafts and variations in indoor temperature.
Basic Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional Experience
• One to two years of experience in a distribution centre is an asset.
Leadership Experience
