Uber's mission is to improve the way the world moves. At the beginning of 2010, we looked at a very simple problem: how to order a ride in one step? After more than 30 billion trips, we are still working on products to bring people closer to their destinations. Uber is changing the way people, your dinner and many other things move around cities. It is a platform that offers new possibilities to the world.

Drivers and couriers with Uber are independent contractors, and there are earning opportunities in more than 15,000 cities around the globe. We encourage drivers who work elsewhere in the industry, and carpool drivers using other apps, to sign up online.
