Route Service Representative (RSR) At UniFirst, we always deliver, both for our customers and for our employees. As a Route Service Representative (RSR), you will be the face of UniFirst. You will build strong relationships with customers and meet their needs in a reliable, professional and caring way. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, interacting with customers and being responsible for their route. You will manage deliveries and pickups, grow customer accounts and work independently while representing a company with a strong culture and a national presence.   • Managing an assigned route: Being the go-to person for customers, delivering and picking up garments and products every day.
  • Supporting daily operations: Helping our service team by loading and unloading delivery trucks, so that each day starts with precision and efficiency.
  • Providing consistent, reliable service: Ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and returns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Developing customer relationships: Building good relationships with customers, responding to their service needs and presenting them with new garments and products to enhance their experience.
  • Driving sales growth: Identifying upselling opportunities and developing your route to increase your revenue potential.
  • Representing UniFirst on the road: Driving a company delivery truck on an assigned route, providing exceptional service, prioritizing safety at all times and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Playing a physically active role: Working both indoors and outdoors, which requires energy, attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Contributing to service excellence: Resolving service issues, managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintaining a predictable schedule: Monday to Friday, during the day, with no night or weekend work, serving the same route and the same customers each week to build consistency and trust.

What you bring to UniFirst

  • Driver's license and safe driving record: be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license (Class 3), have a clean driving record and have reliable transportation. Must meet all Ministry of Transportation requirements.
  • Education requirements: High school diploma, or CAEC required.
  • Strong customer service skills: ability to work independently while maintaining a team spirit and providing excellent customer service.
  • Relevant experience: prior experience in customer service, route sales or delivery is an asset!
  • Technical skills: comfortable using and learning new technologies to improve operational efficiency and the customer experience.
  • Physical endurance: ability to lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds, with the ability to stand for long periods.
