
The Opportunity
Responsible for increasing revenue from key industry account portfolios and growing the acquisition of new major accounts (60k$ to 500k$). Lead sales strategy and plan, including target customer accounts, prospecting, following up with potential customers, and maintaining good relationships with existing customers. Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions.
The Role
- Always seek new customers; make business calls, including random solicitation as well as follow-up with potential and recommended customers in order to present product solutions and increase sales in the assigned territory.
- Determine and strengthen relationships with decision-makers of existing accounts by developing an ongoing relationship strategy, maintaining partnerships, and establishing Wajax as a reputable advisor.
- Review and comment on target customer opportunities while ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy.
- Make forecasts, deliveries, and adjustments to accounts to ensure success under contract clauses.
- Work in collaboration with product experts to identify expansion and cross-selling opportunities in existing accounts and capitalize on them.
- Follow up on purchase orders, quotes, and services requested by customers; undertake sales-related activities such as gathering competitor information and analyzing products offered by them, as well as applying and determining prices in order to address customer objections.
- Develop proposals and quotes based on customer needs, specifications, and products offered.
- Fully comply with the IMPACT sales process and installed CRM tools (Salesforce).
The Candidate
- Professional experience: Proven experience of at least 3 years during which the candidate has met or exceeded sales and account management objectives
- Skills: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
