Position Summary...

Working as a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. Job Description

Ensure the organization of the department and compliance with standards

Ensure that the dairy and frozen products department is clean, organized, and well ordered to be ready to welcome customers at all times.

Stock Rotation and Product Quality

Ensure regular rotation of merchandise and check for expired products to ensure freshness and compliance with quality standards.

Pricing labeling, display, and inventory accuracy

Ensure that items are properly labeled and that the prices indicated are accurate. Follow established procedures for ordering, liquidation, price increase, markdown, display, pricing, and labeling.

Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Hygiene

Respect food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature controls, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and cleaning procedures.

Maintenance of merchandising and feature items

Maintain feature items in the department to comply with merchandising standards and execute promotions.

Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance

Maintain a clean, organized, and obstacle-free work area by eliminating debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and respecting the company's guidelines and health and safety directives.

Flexibility (availability/working hours)

• Be willing to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed by the company. Your adaptability contributes to ensuring the smooth operation of the branch and constant high-quality customer service.

• Effectively manage night shifts and plan accordingly to stay focused and energized.
• Effectively manage work schedules and plan ahead to conserve energy and concentration throughout the work shift.
• Effectively manage workloads in a dynamic environment, ensuring that high volumes of restocking and recovery are handled accurately and on time.

Physical Requirements

• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting merchandise, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 9 kg (20 lb) and sometimes up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Perform repetitive tasks such as restocking, zoning, and merchandising products, with particular attention to detail and consistency to maintain branch standards.
