CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - Succession pool for establishment director position - Fall 2026

The Centre de services scolaire des Portages-de-l’Outaouais is looking for new members to fill management or assistant management positions in establishments and, if necessary, services.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Selected candidates will be required to make themselves available to participate in psychometric tests and an interview.

NATURE OF THE FUNCTION

The establishment management position involves the responsibility of managing, from both an administrative and pedagogical point of view, all programs and resources of the establishment in accordance with the Public Instruction Act and the responsibilities defined by the school service centre.

PROFILE SOUGHT

Focused on collaborative work; marked concern for the success of all students; ability to mobilize, i.e. ability to support establishment staff in a constantly evolving and improving learning organization; ability to establish networks and work in partnership; ability to manage communications, particularly with their team, parents, and students; ability to manage financial resources or demonstrate an interest in developing this skill; recognized for their positivity, commitment, and pedagogical leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

University degree of the first cycle in an appropriate field of specialization sanctioning a university program of studies with a minimum duration of 3 years.

Five (5) years of relevant experience.

Permanent teaching authorization issued by the minister, certain conditions may apply for professional training centre management positions.

Having 6 credits in a university program of studies of the second cycle in school administration (DESS) is necessary to access a position.

Passing the French language proficiency test.
