Job Title
Person responsible for file management, coding of file elements, quantitative and qualitative analysis of files, confidentiality, and application of the policy on disclosure of information recorded in files.
Responsible for research, collects, analyzes and interprets statistical data. Collaborates with the professional team, on teaching and on objective criteria-based evaluation of files.
Specific Tasks
- Participates in file management.
- Responsible for disclosure of information and coding of files in the computer system.
- Produces periodic medical-administrative statistics.
- Non-exhaustive list of tasks.

Requirements
- Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in medical archives or a medical archivist diploma from a school recognized by the competent ministry.
or
- Hold a diploma recognized by the Association des gestionnaires de l'information de la santé du Québec or by the Collège des archivistes médicaux du Canada (Association des archivistes médicales du Canada).
