Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the person will perform a variety of assignments and will be responsible for receiving, storing and shipping inventory according to purchase orders, shipping schedules, and the organization of incoming equipment. The candidate must have experience operating a forklift. Many of these tasks require manual skills.

Responsibilities

  • Use material handling equipment to receive, store and ship products.
  • Use a forklift to move/receive products and prepare orders.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds of material and stand/walk for long periods.

Performs receiving and shipping inspections. Identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments in order to ensure that shipping schedules are met.

  • Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right location and without apparent damage.
  • Ensuring documentation is available as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Team spirit, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Courtesy with customers and employees of transportation companies.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent,
  • General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook)
  • Organizational skills, ability to multitask
  • Communication skills in French and English
  • Possibility of overtime during peak season.

Salary range: $22.50 to $24.00 per hour.

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES & Goodman HVAC Canada is looking for individuals that are professional, dynamic, and qualified to work as a Warehouse Associate.

Permanent full-time position and competitive salary.

The position is full time and permanent. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks, to receive, inspect, store and ship HVAC products. The ideal candidate will know how to drive a forklift, although training can be provided on site.

Tasks require manual skills and efforts.

Day time Schedule. No weekends, evening, or overnight shifts, 40 hours a week.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers. The warehouse associate is accountable for the movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance while ensuring all safety protocols are met.

Position Responsibilities may include;

  • Safely and efficiently operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks
  • Ensure all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations
  • Maintain Inventory and Prepare Cycle Counts
  • Complete Will Calls
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entries
  • Proper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shift
  • Maintain warehouse and forklift by following good housekeeping and safety procedures including pre and post shift forklift inspections. Alert manager of any concerns immediately.
  • Assist Customers and CSRs as needed
  • Follow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and surroundings
  • Basic Computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders
  • Ability to successfully process (ex. Loading and Unloading) products
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse
  • Ability to pass Prove It and driving test
  • Must be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and surroundings
  • Basic Computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders
  • Ability to understand and follow work instructions, policies and procedures
  • Be dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customers
  • Ability to work in warehouse that is not climate controlled
  • Experience: 1 plus years of warehouse experience

  • High School diploma or GED
