Join Valeurs mobilières Desjardins, one of the largest full-service brokerage teams in Quebec. As part of our ongoing talent pool, we are continuously looking for talent for current and future opportunities as wealth management assistants across our network, present in all regions of Quebec. As a wealth management assistant, you play a key role alongside a team of investment advisors and directly contribute to the quality of the client experience.

Thanks to your rigour, your sense of organization and your client-centred approach, you deliver a distinctive experience to clients. A true partner to advisors, you ensure the smooth running of daily operations, the quality of follow-ups and the effectiveness of the team's activities, thereby contributing to the achievement of clients' financial projects and objectives. More specifically, you could be called upon to:

  • Support wealth management advisors in planning and monitoring their activities
  • Ensure the opening, updating and administration of client files and accounts
  • Process transactions related to investment products and ensure their compliance
  • Respond to client requests with professionalism and provide personalized support
  • Coordinate communications between clients, advisors and the various internal partners
  • Take part in preparing client meetings and following up on ongoing files
  • Help maintain high standards of quality, compliance and service

What you will bring

  • Diploma of collegial studies (DEC) in an appropriate discipline
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role

Please note that other relevant combinations of education and experience may be considered

  • Registration with the OCRI as a investment representative following successful completion of the Regulatory Exam on Trading and Investment (ERCI)
  • Knowledge of trading platforms, account openings and the processing of investment-related transactions
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software
  • Customer-oriented, skilled in interpersonal relationships, results-driven
