$70,239.26 to $144,372.80

Your Main Daily Activities
Here are specific activities for the unit: inspection, diagnosis, support for operations and maintenance, design, frameworks and design guides for the following assets:
- Building structures
- Fall protection (active and passive)
- Catwalks
- Retaining walls
More specifically, you will have to carry out or participate in various studies:
- Participate in and/or carry out the necessary inspections to diagnose building structures and other structures under Hydro-Québec's jurisdiction.
- Participate in and/or carry out engineering to support technical requests related to production activities and equipment.
- Participate in and/or carry out the evaluation of the load-bearing capacity of structures.
- Participate in and/or carry out the studies and analyses required to diagnose building structures and other structures under Hydro-Québec's jurisdiction.
- Participate in and/or carry out the development of plans and specifications necessary for the maintenance of building structures and other structures under Hydro-Québec's jurisdiction.
- Manage professional service contracts related to activities, for mandates under their responsibility.
- Plan, coordinate, carry out and ensure the acquisition of goods and/or services required by the mandates under their responsibility.
- Plan, coordinate, carry out and ensure the monitoring, quality control and cost control of the mandates under their responsibility.
- Ensure the completion of final plans and the closure of mandates under his/her responsibility.
- Ensure the quality of engineering through control, validation, and acceptance of technical content during the design, optimization, and preparation of technical plans and specifications for structures, as well as technical modifications during construction.
Your Profile
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a relevant discipline and be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of analysis and design of structural concrete and steel elements.
- Possess relevant experience in maintenance (diagnosis, inspection, evaluation, work, etc.) of concrete and steel structures.
- Possess relevant experience in the field of buildings or civil engineering works.
Skills and Knowledge Related to the Position
- Have knowledge of standards for concrete and steel structures.
- Have knowledge in the field of structural analysis.
- Have demonstrated mastery of computer tools used in the specialty.
- Have demonstrated the ability to write structured reports and recommendations.
- Have knowledge in the field of dams (design, construction, monitoring, etc.), an asset.
- Demonstrate mastery of the following behavioral competence:

- Have an appropriate knowledge of the French language for the function.
