Sales Advisor – Telecommunications and Residential Services - gatineau

Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Consultant.

In this role, you will represent our brand and help customers find the telecommunications and residential services solutions that best meet their needs. You will be expected to familiarize yourself with various products and services, including residential Internet, cable/distribution and television services, residential services, cell phones, and telecommunications plans.

You will be in direct contact with customers to understand their needs, present them with different options, explain products and services, and recommend solutions that suit them.

This is an in-person position that offers training as well as opportunities to develop your skills in sales, communication, customer service, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a professional manner and create a pleasant experience.
• Ask questions and listen attentively to understand customers' needs and preferences.
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of our telecommunications products and services, including Internet, cable/television services, residential services, cell phones, and various plan options.
• Clearly explain the features, benefits, prices, and available options.
• Recommend products and services based on each customer's needs.
• Present complementary products or services when relevant to the customer.
• Work to achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Perform sales and transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and other required tools.
• Follow up with customers to contribute to a positive experience.
• Respond to customer questions and help resolve their concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain displays and sales areas that are clean, organized, and attractive.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and common goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.
• Interest in telecommunications, technology, and consumer services.
• Willingness to learn about products and services related to Internet, cable/television, cell phones, and telecommunications.
• Experience in sales, retail, customer service, or a similar field is an asset, but not required.
• Ease of discussing products and services with customers and presenting them.
• Ability to work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
• Basic math skills and handling of money.
• Ease of learning and using a point of sale (POS) system and various sales tools.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team work.
• Bilingualism or mastery of other languages is an asset.

Training will be provided to enable you to develop your knowledge of our products, services, plans, and sales processes.
