Kindergarten RECE - Full time maternity leave contract with medical/dental benefits

The KRPFC is seeking a passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator maternity leave contract (12-18 months) (possibility of a permanent position)

What are the Requirements?

• Early childhood education diploma/ degree or equivalent.
• 2 years (minimum) relevant experience
• In good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators. (CECEs)
• Deep knowledge and experience to implement Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years, How Does Learning Happen? and Ontario's Kindergarten Curriculum
• Understanding of the Child Care and Early Years Act, CCEYA, 2014
• Belief that children are naturally inquisitive with a capacity of deep thought
• Passion for growth and continuous learning in emergent curriculum, Reggio Emelia approach and pedogogical documentation
• Experience in play and inquiry based curriculum and nature based learning
• Commitment to build trusting, responsive relationships through open communication and mutual respect among children, family, educators
• Strong ability to collaborate with families, children and the entire team
• Professional work ethic
