Regular Relief Production Operator

Magnera global supplier of choice, our employees are the heart of a solid and growing company. In Outaouais, we produce cellulose-based absorbent non-woven materials using the Airlaid process. Our products are used, among other things, in the manufacture of feminine hygiene products, adult incontinence products, household cleaning products, etc.

We are looking for competent candidates to fill operator positions in our production and specialized packaging departments (Festoon). These jobs will serve to fill the needs of replacing regular employees within the departments. We offer complete training before being assigned to the different positions.

Working conditions and benefits

• Probationary period of 1560 hours
• Hourly rate of $25.40 for the first 1040 hours, then an hourly rate of $33.08 to $42.02 depending on the position occupied on the production line
• Advantageous schedule / 12-hour shifts (DAY: 7am to 7pm) (NIGHT: 7pm to 7am)
• Guaranteed 84 hours every 2 weeks and possibility of overtime
• Safety clothing and equipment provided as well as quality training

• Night premium $1.05/hour and Sunday premium 15% of salary
• After probation: membership in the insurance program / After 2260 hours, membership in the pension fund

Responsibilities

• Monitor, adjust and report the condition of the product at each stage of production.
• Supply the machine with raw materials.
• Ensure the smooth running of production activities such as roll movement, paper cutting and packaging.
• Produce a quality product at all times, and in a safe working environment.

Sought skills / sought profile

• AVAILABILITY AND ATTENDANCE
• Hold a high school diploma (DES) or have passed the TENS: test of equivalence of level of schooling.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy, teamwork, rigor, adaptability, motivation at work, ability to solve problems
