In order to continue our growth and maintain the excellence of our living spaces, we are currently looking for a committed person to fill the position of Janitor/Cleaner.

A permanent part-time position: A flexible schedule of approximately 13 hours/week (daytime, weekdays, and weekends — sequence to be determined).
Time for you: 2 weeks of paid vacation and 2 sick days per year.
Remuneration starting at $20.00/hour.

Your daily life at Maître Carré

In close collaboration with the Building Maintenance Supervisor, your role will be essential in maintaining a high-quality resident experience. You will embody Maître Carré's values on a daily basis by offering a clean, safe, welcoming, and modern environment.

Your main responsibilities

Cleanliness and maintenance: Ensuring excellence in cleanliness and maintenance by setting high standards for common and private areas.
Equipment optimization: Ensuring optimal equipment performance through rigorous, preventive, and proactive maintenance.
Unwavering safety: Guaranteeing resident safety through preventive measures and excellent reactivity in case of emergencies.
Ambassador of values: Emboding and promoting Maître Carré's sustainable development and well-being commitments in each interaction with customers.

Profile sought

Requirements and qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a multi-residential building of at least 100 units.
Education: High school diploma (DES) required. A professional studies diploma (DEP) in general building maintenance or hygiene and sanitation is an asset.
Language: Excellent command of French and English (in order to communicate easily with our English-speaking residents).
