What is the job about?
You are a Bilingual Anti-Fraud Advisor within the RBC advisory centre, and you act as an ambassador of RBC to offer an exceptional customer experience. You promote the RBC brand and provide support to our clients by phone or by email. If you have strong analytical skills, are curious, and have a passion for offering an exceptional customer experience, a long-term career at RBC awaits you. This is a full-time position with shift work and the possibility of flexible work arrangements. Our centres are located in Montréal, Mississauga, Toronto, and Winnipeg. What will your tasks be?
- Interact with RBC clients through various communication channels to ensure their protection while offering an exceptional customer experience.
- Inform clients and provide them with advice to meet their immediate security needs and offer personalized solutions to protect them against fraud and resulting losses.
- Resolve issues at the first point of contact in a friendly and helpful manner and collaborate with partners in accordance with the RBC Together principle.
- Contribute to team results by supporting all colleagues to meet client needs.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with partners to work in accordance with the RBC Together principle.
- Manage risks by respecting established procedures, processes, and controls for compliance to protect client and shareholder interests.
What do you need to succeed?
Essential Skills
- Experience in a customer service role, where you have offered various solutions based on needs
- Ability to meet the technological and confidentiality requirements of the position (i.e. private and quiet space, internet connectivity, etc.)
- Experience working in a contact centre, card services, senior banking, or banking services.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships while analyzing and effectively finding solutions to reduce risks and protect our clients
- Desire to offer exceptional customer experiences by meeting their needs and addressing their concerns promptly
- High availability to work various shifts, from Monday to Sunday, between 7:00 a.m. and midnight. Please note that the department is open 24/7.
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve French- and English-speaking colleagues and partners across Canada.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a team environment and in a performance-driven setting
- Experience in a call centre or in a dynamic environment in the finance or service sector
