SSP Canada operates several restaurants at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport. At SSP Canada, our servers enjoy interacting with customers while serving craft beverages and delicious dishes. Our servers stay up to date on alcoholic beverage industry trends. They have experience preparing drinks and providing service with close attention to detail. Our restaurants are dynamic, and our servers work quickly and accurately while providing exceptional customer service effortlessly!

Here is what you can expect when joining our team as a server:

• Greet customers promptly, courteously and friendly
• Enter orders into the cash register and create a bill for each customer
• Receive cash payments from customers, make change when necessary, verify the validity of fees, record payments and ensure orders are correctly executed
• Maintain proper bar setup at all times
• Ensure storage, cutting and daily preservation of all fresh fruits and vegetables for garnishes, juices and other perishable products to guarantee their quality
• Comply at all times with provincial, federal and company regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages to minors and to customers who are intoxicated
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products, according to the supervisor's instructions, to meet sanitary standards
• Perform any other assigned tasks

Skills and other requirements:

• One year of experience as a server required
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation as well as alcoholic beverage service
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic math skills needed to operate a cash register, make change, total bills, count the till, prepare deposits and understand weights and measures.
