Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and accurately take food and beverage orders using point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages, following standard recipes and presentation standards
• Serve meals efficiently while ensuring compliance with food handling and safety protocols
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register tasks and cash handling procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables and service stations, in accordance with food safety standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, promptly addressing any concerns with a positive attitude
• Assist with bar setup for service, restocking inventory and end-of-shift closing procedures

Experience

• Prior experience in the restaurant or food industry is strongly preferred, particularly in bartender or server roles
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is an asset
• A solid understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables or drink orders during peak periods
• Proven customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse clientele
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy and order calculation
• Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes and alcohol regulations is an asset
• Experience in hospitality environments that value teamwork, professionalism and care for others

Salary: $16.60 CAD per hour
