Senior Automotive Technician - Electrical and Hybrid Diagnostics

- Toyota Gatineau is looking for an experienced automotive technician with strong expertise in Toyota products to join its Service team. We are particularly looking for a seasoned technician with 15 years of experience or more, who has completed Toyota technical training and has advanced expertise in electrical diagnostics, electronic systems and hybrid/electrified vehicles. If you know Toyota products inside out and enjoy solving the most complex technical problems, we want to meet you. Your role As a senior technician, you will be called upon to: Perform advanced mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostics
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and complex problems
- Perform maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Toyota hybrid and electrified vehicles
- Carry out repairs in accordance with Toyota standards and procedures
- Use the manufacturer's diagnostic tools and software
- Perform the necessary inspections, maintenance and repairs
- Accurately document the work performed and recommendations on repair orders
- Collaborate with technical advisors, the foreman and other technicians to ensure efficient, high-quality work. Desired profile 15 years or more of experience as an automotive technician
- Significant experience with Toyota vehicles
- Toyota technical training completed
- Advanced expertise in electrical and electronic diagnostics
- Experience with Toyota hybrid and electrified vehicles
- Competency cards required
- Recognized training in automotive mechanics
- Valid driver's license
- Own your tools
- High level of autonomy and excellent problem-solving skills
