Art & Design Montreal ( A&D Montreal ) is a creator of occasions where creatives and clients gather. by virtue of their expositions and publications, A&D will contribute to the rise of Montreal design as much on the local scene as the international. A&D is a triad of exhibition spaces: on the web, in print, and the physical space. From photography, illustration and graphic design through fashion and industrial design, A&D concentrates on four points of view: personal work, commercial work, the relationship to the client and the creative dimension WHO IS ART & DESIGN MONTRéAL? Jimmi Francoeur (Deux Huit Huit) is a print producer and photographer. Shortly after his immer- sion into the photo world, he became a monthly contributor to the magazines Nightlife and ur- bania. He works with many Montreal agencies and in 2008 started up the design collective Deux Huit Huit. Patrick John-Lord Joseph (formerly of Toxa) is a communications and marketing professional. This graduate of the Hautes étude Commerciales made his debut as Artistic Director to the Que- bec Counsel of Art Trades followed by a contribution to the break- through of the magazine Night- life, and building the notoriety of urbania magazine. Today, he holds the post Execu- tive Producer at Moskito Films, and works on development of the creative creators collective, Swamp. Jean-Aymeri de Magistris (Montreal State Of Mind) is an independent interior designer, who has worked for many Montreal agencies. In 2008 he cofounded the blog Montreal State Of Mind and the shop Mtldesigners.com, in an effort to promote, expose and export Montreal creatives.
