Sanivac was founded in 1961 in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot by John Kelly and his wife Josée Serrurier. Initially, the company's activities focused on septic tank pumping and installation. As their sons Mark, Dennis, Patrick, and Daniel became involved in the business, Sanivac diversified its services and now offers a comprehensive range of environmental services to clients in municipal, residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. In 2017, the third generation of the Kelly family took over the reins of the family business. John Kelly's grandchildren, Carole-Ann, David, and Vincent Kelly, all grew up in the family business and were involved in operational activities from a young age. They understand the Sanivac family culture and are committed to delivering exceptional quality products and services. Sanivac, still based in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, is now a large family of over 425 employees.
