Inventory and Warehouse Manager

Today, with six stores, three Éconos centers, two floor covering stores and a transportation company, Branchaud serves the population of four different regions. Branchaud is one of the most important retailers of furniture, appliances, electronics and computer equipment in western Quebec, and the largest seller of residential, commercial and industrial floor covering in the Outaouais and Hautes-Laurentides.

The Warehouse Supervisor handles, moves, loads and unloads merchandise by hand or with the help of various handling devices and equipment. He works in the warehouse of the branch and ensures the smooth running of shipping, receiving and storage operations. Coordinates and executes activities related to storage, reception, shipping and inventory;

• Loads, unloads and moves products and merchandise by hand or with handling equipment;
• Fills other functions related to handling, such as counting, sorting, packing and unpacking various products;
• Manages other warehouse employees;
• Ensures compliance with workplace safety measures in the warehouse;
• Verifies received merchandise to ensure it conforms to the purchase order;
• Verifies merchandise to be shipped;
• Controls inventory and participates in taking inventory of the ''stock'';

Permanent and full-time employment - 40 hours per week - from Monday to Friday;

• High school diploma or equivalent knowledge;
• Ease with computer tools (OFFICE suite);
• Forklift driver's card (asset);
• One (1) to less than two (2) years of experience in a warehouse (asset).
