The CSIS is committed to establishing a workforce that is truly representative of the Canadian population it serves, which involves creating a work environment that reflects diversity and inclusion. To do this, it is necessary to increase representation of employment equity groups at all levels of the organization, namely persons with disabilities, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples and women, through hiring and talent management practices.

A discrepancy has been observed among people with disabilities and Indigenous peoples for this position. The Service will also ensure that adequate accommodation measures (e.g. specialized equipment or physical modifications to the work environment) are taken so that all candidates who possess the required qualifications can apply. In support of creating a more diverse and qualified workforce, the Service strongly encourages people who are part of one or more employment equity groups to self-identify when applying for a position.

If you require accommodation in relation to a disability, please inform us at the beginning of the selection process. This information will be kept confidential.

In Canada, CSIS offices are located on various traditional and ancestral lands. In a spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge all Indigenous peoples in Canada and their connection to these lands.
