The Sûreté du Québec is dedicated to maintaining peace, order, and public security, as well as preventing and suppressing crime. Its members ensure the safety of people and property, safeguard rights and freedoms, are attentive to the needs of victims, and collaborate with the community. As a national police force, the Sûreté du Québec supports the police community, coordinates large-scale police operations, contributes to the integrity of state institutions, and ensures the security of transportation networks under the jurisdiction of Québec. Additionally, it manages a central intelligence service that it makes available to other police forces.

General Information
A temporary position of less than one year is available at the Centre de service de la MRC (CSMRC) in Maniwaki, in the Western district.
Unit Mandate
Supervises and carries out all tasks related to the management of human, material, and financial resources and coordinates the work of a team of employees to contribute to the achievement of the CSMRC's administrative and operational objectives.
Your Role Will Consist Of
- Providing technical support to your supervisor, CSMRC officers, and post sub-officers, and doing so in matters of human, material, and financial resources to contribute to the achievement of the CSMRC's administrative and operational objectives.
- Planning activities related to work schedules and monitoring the attendance of police and civilian employees of the CSMRC.
- Providing technical support in files related to human resources, development, and occupational health and safety.
- Participating in the management of the CSMRC's financial and material resources.
- Monitoring the operation and maintenance of buildings.
- Acting as a resource person for unit staff.
- Contributing to the smooth operation of the post.
Remuneration
From $47,119 to $66,112*
- Remuneration is determined based on the relevance of your education and experience related to the job. Therefore, it is essential to detail them in your application form, which will serve as a reference.
Work Location
The position is available at the CSMRC located at 161, boul. Desjardins in Maniwaki, in the Outaouais region. However, the selected person will be physically located either at 100, rue Godard in Mont-Laurier, in the Laurentides administrative region, or at 85, rue Jean-Proulx in Gatineau, in the Outaouais region.
Telework / In-Person
The hired person may be authorized to perform telework for a maximum of two days per week, in accordance with the Policy Framework for Telework for Public Service Staff of the Treasury Board Secretariat.

Job requirements
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in a technical field in the field of administration or any other discipline deemed relevant.

The candidate who does not have the relevant education required for the minimum admission conditions to the class of employment or the grade corresponding to a college technical diploma may compensate for it by compensating for each year of relevant missing education with a year of relevant education of equal or higher level.
The candidate can also compensate for this diploma by meeting the following conditions:
1- hold a non-relevant college technical or pre-university diploma;
2- hold a relevant post-secondary year that is not part of the diploma mentioned in point 1.
The candidate who does not have the relevant education in question may also compensate for such a diploma with a non-relevant college diploma and six years of relevant experience acquired in a job of immediately lower level, college or professional.
The application of a person who is in the process of completing the last year of education required to obtain the required diploma may be considered.
To be considered, any education completed outside of Canada must be the subject of a comparative evaluation (equivalence certificate) issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration.
- Possess Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status or a work permit issued by the competent federal authority.
A person waiting for proof of their permanent resident status or a work permit may submit their application to this selection process. However, they must be authorized to work legally in Canada at the time of their appointment.
- Have a knowledge of French appropriate to the functions.
