  • * Full job description
  • * Reporting to the territory supervisor, the day worker is responsible for the daily operation and proper functioning of the equipment operating at the drop-off point. An orientation training is offered to every new employee.
  • * Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Operate the container recovery line to ensure continuous service;
  • Processing of customer bags;
  • Ensure site upkeep by maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the storage area;
  • Operate the return system and other equipment;
  • Operate various handling and storage equipment;
  • Perform regular maintenance of workstations to keep the assembly area clean and organized;
  • Perform visual inspections of equipment;
  • Ensure that safety and sanitation standards are respected;
  • As needed, train colleagues and share knowledge;
  • Perform all other related tasks (i.e.
  • shipping preparation, inventory, reports, cleaning of work spaces including the washroom, etc.)
  • * Desired profile
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Capacity for continuous learning and working independently;
  • Ability to work in an environment under construction and constant evolution;
  • Ability to use computer tools.
  • * Requirements:
  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Hold a forklift operator certificate (asset);
  • Mastery of the French language;
  • Respect for availability schedules;
  • Ability to work in variable conditions (hot, cold, humid, noisy);
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements;
  • Ability to lift loads of at least 20 kg;
  • Demonstrate adaptability.
