OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR – CONSTRUCTION SITE

Location: Thurso, Quebec – on-site presence required

Full-time position | 40 hours per week | Day shift

We carry out large-scale projects in the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors. Our expertise leads us to work on complex sites where safety, rigour and planning are central.

As part of a major demolition project located in Thurso, we are looking for a Construction Site Health and Safety Advisor to ensure an active and constant presence on the site and to contribute directly to risk prevention for our teams.

ON-SITE PRESENCE REQUIRED IN THURSO

Presence at the Thurso site is an essential requirement of this position. The incumbent must be available to work directly on the site, in Thurso, on a regular basis and according to the schedule set for operations.

This is primarily a field position, requiring constant proximity to work crews, supervisors and site managers.

The person must therefore be able to travel to and work in Thurso for the duration of the project, according to operational needs.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and working closely with site teams, you will be a resource person for occupational health and safety.

Your role will focus mainly on field prevention, risk identification, supporting managers and workers, and the rigorous application of prevention measures specific to demolition work.

You will be present directly on the Thurso site to observe work methods, intervene when necessary and help maintain a safe work environment.

CONDITIONS

• Full-time position of 40 hours per week;
• Day shift, which may vary according to site needs;

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment;
• Valid class 5 driver's license
