Gazifere, the exclusive distributor of natural gas in Outaouais and a dynamic, fast-growing company, is looking for a Dispatcher.
Dispatchers play a key role at Gazifere. They are primarily responsible for dispatching service calls, ensuring work follow-up, sharing archived information, and ensuring proper coordination of emergency situations.

An overview of your shift (your responsibilities)
- Respond professionally to customer service and emergency calls from clients
- Listen to and assess client needs, and ensure required follow-up according to requests
- Complete data entry related to service and emergency calls
- Dispatch, issue and monitor service requests intended for operations teams, locators and the service contractor, and investigate some of these calls as needed
- Perform various administrative tasks
- Work with various computer systems
- Act as a reference for requests from customer service representatives
You are the person we are looking for if you can offer (your qualifications)
- Bilingualism. The person in this position must master French. Since this person will frequently interact with colleagues, stakeholders and clients who do not speak French, this person must have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- A completed secondary school diploma
- The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, and to manage priorities and stress
- Excellent organizational skills that allow you to perform several tasks at once while establishing and respecting your priorities
- Impeccable communication and listening skills
- Energy, initiative, and resourcefulness
- Good command of computer tools
- Previous dispatching experience would be an asset
Working Conditions
There are various shift schedules for our Dispatcher roles
- Day shift (x2): 35h/week, 7am to 3pm and 9am to 5pm
- Evening shift: 35h/week, 35h/week, 4pm to 11pm
- Weekend shift (x3): 16h/week from 7am to 3pm, from 9am to 5pm, and from 3pm to 11pm
- Night shift (x2): 32h/week & 24h/week, 11pm to 7am.

What You Will Do

Who You AreYou will have the following
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual, the person in this role must be fluent in French (speaking, reading, writing). As the person in this role is required to frequently interact with colleagues, stakeholders and clients that do not speak French, a proficient knowledge of English(speaking, reading, writing) is also required.
- Proven strong work ethic while under pressure with minimal direction, and capable of managing priorities and stress
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak professionally with internal and external customers
- Professional, resourceful, and initiative-driven
- Good knowledge of IT software
- Previous dispatch experience is an asset
