Director of Individual Customer Services

The core of this role is managing property and casualty insurance brokers for individual clients, while maintaining and developing a volume of business under management.

Your tasks and responsibilities.

• Manage brokers to support them in various aspects of their work and ensure their well-being.
• Support the team in reaching its objectives by daily monitoring of statistics and file audit results while providing appropriate coaching.
• Take part in developing the department's business, notably by being responsible for a specialized team.
• Network with our various partners and with our clientele.
• Coordinate with the human resources department the management of absences, schedules and vacations.
• Collaborate with the training team to develop the full potential of the team under management.
• Conduct performance evaluation meetings.
• Represent the company at job fairs, CEGEPs and universities.
• Take part in all stages of hiring team members under management.
• Take part in various administrative and disciplinary meetings in collaboration with the human resources team.
• Manage a volume of business under management.

Your skills, your potential.

• Hold a completed university certificate.
• Hold the property and casualty insurance representative certification from the Autorité des marchés financiers.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an insurance broker position.
• Be available to travel to branch offices twice a week.
• Have a strong command of French (advanced level) and English (intermediate level), both spoken and written, as the person will communicate daily with English-speaking clients and partners.
