Logistics and Transport Manager

Reporting to the Supply Chain management, the Logistics and Transportation Manager plays a key role in optimizing transportation, coordinating shipments and improving logistics performance across the entire Groupe Lauzon. Using data analysis and performance indicators, this person helps reduce costs, improve delivery times, ensure customs compliance and support operational efficiency.

Main responsibilities

• Plan and optimize inbound and outbound transportation.
• Ensure daily dispatch and shipment tracking.
• Analyze costs, performance and logistics data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with carriers and logistics partners.
• Ensure customs and regulatory compliance of Canadian and American operations.
• Collaborate with the procurement, production, sales and customer service teams.
• Take part in continuous improvement and digital transformation projects.
• Develop shipping plans according to customer agreements and inventory levels.

Ideal profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain.
• Experience in dispatch, transportation coordination and data analysis.
• Good knowledge of customs, importing and exporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of TMS systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics tools (an asset).
• Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written.
