Mechanic - $31.9 Per Hour - Part-time

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on the fleet of automobiles and light trucks (fleet of approximately 20 units);

Perform minor body repairs;

Perform, as needed, repairs and maintenance of the motorized equipment of the cemeteries (lawn tractor, edger, tractors (3) and backhoes (3)). Perform repair and maintenance of the generators of the funeral complexes;

See to the general maintenance of the garage (order and cleanliness);

Perform any other related tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Part-time position Salary of $31.86/hour, according to the collective agreement Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in mechanics or related experiences Variable schedule according to operational needs Possibility of overtime, according to needs Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE)

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in automotive mechanics, heavy vehicles or construction equipment or equivalent work experience Experience in preventive maintenance and repair of vehicles or equipment Good ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment Ability to work in a team and manage priorities Autonomy, resourcefulness and sense of responsibility
