Site Technician - Materials Engineering - Gatineau

This position is available in one of our offices across Quebec: South Shore of Montreal, Blainville, Drummondville, Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec, Saguenay, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières.

Job Summary

Reporting to the team manager, the job holder will act as a technician in materials engineering. He will be responsible for various site work.

Main Responsibilities

• Verify the materials delivered to the site (aggregate, concrete, asphalt) in compliance with plans and estimates;
• Perform tests related to material control on site according to current standards and procedures;
• Prepare technical site reports using computer tools;
• Perform maintenance and calibration tasks on certain equipment;
• Write and follow up on non-conformity memos;
• Apply SST measures.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Profile Sought

• Hold an AEC, DEC, BAC, or comparative evaluation in civil engineering;
• Have at least 5 years of experience in the field of civil engineering;
• Hold a valid driver's license and a car;
• Hold an ASP card in health and safety (including SIMDUT 2015 training, an asset);
• Good team spirit;
• Versatile, rigorous and professional.
