Role

The role of the operator is to ensure the startup of the equipment under their responsibility according to precise operating procedures established by the company.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust the equipment
• Operate equipment (control panels, computer terminals, etc.)
• Monitor indicators, computer readings and control screens;
• Perform established quality tests, and make necessary adjustments;
• Fill in production logs;
• Know and comply at all times with food quality and safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Assist and support other operators to ensure the proper functioning of production equipment
• Perform various tasks required by your supervisor related to production
• Ensure that the finished product is of the highest quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Clean surfaces and equipment using water and cleaning products
• Rinse surfaces and equipment using water from high- and low-pressure systems
• Clean surfaces and equipment using prescribed chemical products, in accordance with protocols and procedures
• Perform daily tasks, including but not limited to emptying and restocking garbage and recycling bins; restocking hand soap, hand sanitizer and paper towel dispensers; restocking cup dispensers; restocking and keeping up to date the sanitary inventory, etc.
