Your leadership can have a decisive impact on some of the most ambitious industrial, mining and metallurgical projects in Quebec. As Director – Mechanical and Piping, you will guide a highly qualified team spread across the province, while contributing to the strategic growth of the Resources Quebec sector. You will play a key role in talent development, technical excellence and the delivery of complex projects that shape the future of the industry

Your impact

• Lead and mobilize team leads and professionals in mechanical and piping to foster collaboration, engagement and performance.
• Support team leads and teams in developing the group's technical expertise.
• Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, participating in the preparation of service proposals, developing the project portfolio and collaborating with sales teams to ensure the group's growth.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their challenges, build lasting relationships and ensure their satisfaction at every stage of projects.
• Foster and promote innovation and the adoption of new technologies in the design and execution of projects for the Mechanical and Piping team. Identify and implement innovative solutions to solve technical challenges.
• Support the delivery of large-scale projects in the Mines and Metals as well as industrial sectors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all projects, while safeguarding employee safety and respecting the environment.

The skills that set you apart

• University degree in engineering or relevant equivalent training.
• Significant experience in engineering project management in the Mines and Metals and industrial sectors.
• Proven leadership and demonstrated ability to mobilize, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent knowledge of standards, technologies and practices applicable to mining, metallurgical and industrial facilities.
• Experience in business development and in building strategic client relationships.
• Strong communication, influence and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a complex and dynamic environment while solving technical and organizational challenges.
• Bilingual French-English required to collaborate with teams, clients and partners across Canada.
• Project management certification (asset).

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $177,000 - $234,400

MB & ON: $161,500 - $222,300

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $159,900 - $212,300

The final salary assigned to this position may differ from the range indicated above depending on several factors, including: relevant training, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, geographic location, performance and the needs of the company or organization.
