The Opportunity

Join a world-class team in the mining and industrial sector, while staying firmly rooted in your community. Within our Resources – Industrial and Mining division, you will take part in projects ranging from conceptual studies to full implementation, including commissioning and industrial programming. This internship in electrical engineering or instrumentation and controls will allow you to contribute to strategic projects from our offices.

Your Impact

• Contribute to the production of plans, estimates and details for projects in electrical, mechanical, industrial, mining or institutional engineering.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and contribute to the preparation of budget estimates.
• Collaborate on the verification and production of tender documents and other technical documents.
• Assist the project manager and take part in coordination meetings with the design team.
• Carry out any other related tasks to support project delivery.

The skills that set you apart

• Student in a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (minimum completed coursework).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D software (an asset).
• ASP Construction certification and valid driver's license (assets).
• Interest in the industrial and mining sector and in large-scale projects.
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute in a collaborative environment.

Compensation

CB, AB, SK, TNO & NU: $24.00 – $32.25

MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25

Atlantic provinces & QC: $21.50 – $30.25
