Video Content Creator — TikTok and Reels

Create TikTok and Reels content in our factory, in Gatineau. Full-time, $23 to $28 an hour. You work directly with the president: your morning idea can be online in the evening.

We are a manufacturing SME in the Outaouais region looking for our video content creator. Our product is made here, in our own factory, and that's where most of the content is shot: production, people, what comes out of the line. We publish on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and it's our main driver of notoriety. No traditional advertising, no agency: homemade content, every day.

THE POSITION IN ONE SENTENCE

Video creator and editor, short vertical format, from concept to comments, working directly with the company's president.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Find ideas. You look at what works elsewhere, you follow creators and brands that make the content we would like to have, and you bring back concepts.

Shoot on site. The raw material is in the factory. Most of the content is shot on a phone, here. The rest in a grocery store or outdoors.

Edit. Short format, vertical, subtitles, rhythm, music, sound effects. We aim for volume AND quality, both together.

Publish. TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook.

Maintain the community. Respond to comments and questions, every day.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Has a portfolio of short videos that we can watch right away. A personal TikTok or Instagram account is just as good as a professional portfolio. This is the only non-negotiable criterion.
• Has ideas and brings them without being asked.
• Understands the basics of editing.
• Understands the vertical format: hook in the first 2 seconds, readable subtitles, tight cuts.
• Is comfortable filming themselves and speaking face-to-camera. A large part of the content is face-to-camera.
• Delivers what has been requested.
• Works in French and English.

This is a position open to a junior person. If you're just out of school or have a year or two of experience, with a portfolio that speaks for you, apply.

WHAT WE OFFER

• $23 to $28 an hour based on your experience
• Full-time, 40 hours a week, in-person in Gatineau

Step 2 of the process: a paid test. We give you a brief with a few specific constraints, you conceive, shoot, and edit a video at our place. We pay you $100 to do it, whether we hire you or not.

Remuneration: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour

Scheduled hours: 30.0 to 40.0 per week
